Job summary

Littera is seeking Reading and Math tutors to support K-12 students remotely. Tutors work 5:00-8:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday, with up to 25 hours per week. The role requires no prep, flexible scheduling, and ongoing training. Compensation includes a base pay with administrative time, paid bi-weekly via W-2.

Tutors must be U.S.-based, pass a background check, and use Littera's virtual tools to deliver live sessions. This is a part-time, remote opportunity with all training provided.

Qualifications

• U.S.-based applicants with a consistent, weekly schedule.
• Experience or strong knowledge in Reading, Math, Algebra or ESL/ELL.
• Ability to adapt to diverse learners with encouragement and care.
• Ability to build genuine connections with students and foster a motivating learning environment.
• Comfort with virtual tutoring tools: video, audio, screenshare, whiteboard, chat.
• Interest in a supplemental income up to 25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructional support during live, scheduled sessions.
• Communicate effectively with students using Littera's platform.
• Read and interpret on-screen lesson materials in real time.
