Job summary

BookNook is seeking tutors available to support students across the United States in math and reading who have time to tutor most weekdays for at least one hour between 4 pm to 7 pm ET? (can tutor more hours as well) Tutors work as independent contractors with provided lesson content and a virtual classroom, meeting students in recurring weekly sessions, with no lesson prep required.

You control your schedule, focusing on peak hours and maintaining at least 80% attendance to keep sessions steady

Qualifications

• Experience as a classroom teacher or tutor with online instruction capability.
• Experience in EL/ESL/ELL or related student support is a plus.
• Ability to deliver structured math instruction using provided content.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-designed, best-practice math lessons with practice extensions.
• Provide targeted support to students across the USA to improve skills.
• Build a supportive learning environment and motivate students.
• Attend sessions as scheduled and maintain reliability.
