Job summary

Littera Education is hiring part-time, W-2 online tutors for the 2026 Fall semester. Work fully remote from home with a flexible evening schedule (EST 5:00-8:00 PM) and no lesson planning. Earn up to $22.50/hr with base pay plus admin time, and training is paid.

We seek U.S.-based candidates with strengths in Reading, Math, Algebra, or ESL/ELL and the ability to connect with diverse learners. Background checks are required and hours vary by enrollment.

Qualifications

• U.S.-based applicants only. You must live and work within one of our eligible states.
• Consistent availability is required.
• Hours vary week to week based on student enrollment and client needs.
• This role works best for candidates who can commit to a reliable weekly schedule and are comfortable with fluctuating hours. Schedules are subject to change.
• Reading, Math, Algebra, or ESL/ELL experience or knowledge

Responsibilities

• Show up consistently, connect with students, and help move the needle on outcomes that matter most.
• Pass a background check (required).
• Communicate effectively with students using Littera's virtual tutoring platform.
• Read and interpret on-screen lesson materials in real time.
• Deliver instructional support during live, scheduled sessions.
