Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Trucking Dispatcher & Coordinator to manage fleet operations from a home office. You will oversee daily dispatches, coordinate with drivers, optimize routes, and ensure timely deliveries while resolving real-time logistical issues to maintain service quality.

The role requires at least 3 years in trucking dispatch or logistics coordination, strong communication, problem-solving, and proficiency with TMS and routing software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in trucking dispatch or logistics coordination.
• Proven ability to manage a fleet and coordinate drivers remotely.
• Strong understanding of transportation management systems (TMS) and routing software.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in using remote work tools and communication platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end dispatch process for a fleet of trucks, optimizing routes and schedules.
• Communicate effectively with drivers via phone, email, and dispatch software to provide instructions and support.
• Monitor shipment progress, track vehicle locations, and address delays or issues.
• Maintain records of all dispatches, deliveries, and driver logs.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth coordination and customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges to minimize disruption to service.
