Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Transport Operations Specialist to manage and optimize the transportation network from a distance. This role coordinates with drivers, dispatch, and clients to ensure timely deliveries and seamless communication across logistics touchpoints.

You will use TMS and GPS tools to monitor routes, analyze data for improvements, and maintain accurate records while adhering to regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transportation operations or logistics, preferably remote.
• Proficient with TMS and GPS tracking tools; able to leverage logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute transportation routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Monitor shipment progress using tracking software and proactively address delays or issues.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, and clients to provide updates and resolve operational concerns.
• Analyze transportation data to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in routing and delivery processes.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities and generate operational reports.
