LanguageLine Solutions LLC is seeking a remote bilingual Trique-English interpreter to provide on-demand phone interpretation from the comfort of your home in the United States. This independent contractor role supports healthcare, government, finance, and other sectors, with training and professional support available.

As an interpreter, you will handle calls promptly, render accurate meanings, and maintain professionalism in sensitive situations, including emergency 911-related conversations.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Trique and English with strong cultural awareness.
• Strong listening, retention and note-taking skills.
• Ability to stay neutral and professional on calls, including sensitive topics.

Responsibilities

• Respond to interpreting sessions promptly in a friendly, professional manner.
• Render correct concepts according to interpretation protocol.
• Speak clearly in both languages with accurate pronunciation and etiquette.
• Maintain professionalism and composure during sessions, including emergencies.
• Remain punctual and available during work hours.
• Follow client instructions to ensure expectations are met with LEP clients.
• Understand terminology across industries such as medical, insurance, finance and law.
• Demonstrate commitment to cultural sensitivity in a diverse environment.
• Manage potentially emotional or stressful calls while maintaining service standards.
