Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Manager to deliver ongoing accounting services and grants management for Tribal government clients. The role focuses on monthly close, grants reporting, and financial reporting to senior stakeholders.

You will collaborate with clients to understand practices, define new processes, and help develop updated policies and procedures. Travel is occasional, and remote work is supported as LI-Remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; emphasis in Accounting or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides accounting services for Tribal governments, including monthly closing, grants management, grant reporting, and financial reporting to key decision makers
• Develops policies and procedures on key accounting matters
• Collaborates with clients to improve processes and update policies
• Performs project start up activities and follows project work plans
• Coordinates with clients during the audit process and helps prepare for audits
• Supports practice growth and acts as a member of the Business Consulting Services team
• Occasionally travels to client locations, firm trainings, or industry conferences
