Job summary

Aduro Advisors is seeking a proactive Treasury Associate to support day-to-day treasury operations for venture capital and private equity clients. You'll process wires and payments, document activities, and escalate issues to the Treasury Manager.

The role emphasizes accuracy, client service, and collaboration with fund accounting and other departments. A foundational treasury background and strong problem-solving mindset are key.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in treasury operations, finance, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You are naturally resourceful, driven and have strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with Treasury Management systems, banking portals, G-suite, Microsoft Office, Box, Slack.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily treasury operations for clients, processing wires, ACH payments, and other payments.
• Execute payment instructions with proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Identify and escalate client service issues or operational discrepancies to Treasury Manager.
• Help ensure compliance with treasury policies and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize treasury management systems and banking portals for daily tasks.
• Assist with reconciliations and prepare basic treasury reports as needed.
• Collaborate with fund accounting teams on client cash transactions and support internal teams.
• Identify opportunities for minor process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Assist Treasury Manager and Head of Treasury on ad hoc projects.
