Responsibilities include leading training, coordinating daily goals, and solving operational issues with a focus on continuous improvement. Travel is extensive, reflecting a fast-paced logistics environment with Fortune 500 clients.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED.
• 1+ year in logistics, warehouse or related field.
• 1+ year previous supervisory experience preferred.
• WMS intermediate preferred.
• MHE intermediate required.
• OSHA intermediate required.
• DOT and Hazmat intermediate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily/shift goals of facility and work group(s).
• Assist with and train hourly, SNE or other specialists
• Lead and initiate employees through in-depth training and continuous review of policies, procedures and processes.
• Decision making for location activities including demand planning, supplier calls, customer interactions, etc.
• Support and aid in development of system and process training for employees in the work group(s).
• Identify and/or solve operational issues with the account(s) by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
