Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Remote Traveling Supply Chain Ops Specialist for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This is a salaried, remote position with an annual pay range of $57,500 to $62,500 based on experience.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, with shifts that may vary and up to 90% travel (40–45 weeks per year) to site locations across the Mid-West. The role focuses on specialized operational functions for assigned work groups, including troubleshooting, reporting, and training.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in logistics, warehouse or related field.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• WMS intermediate and MHE intermediate.
• OSHA intermediate and DOT/Hazmat preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily/shift goals and plans to the work group.
• Assist with and train hourly, SNE or other specialists.
• Lead training and review employee understanding of policies.
• Make location activity decisions including demand planning and supplier calls.
• Support system and process training; perform admin functions.
• Identify and solve operational issues using continuous improvement and LEAN.
• Float to complete roles across multiple shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
