Job summary

Trip Ignite invites a Remote Travel Professional to provide premier client service in the travel industry. You will assess needs, tailor marketing materials, and arrange bookings while building strong vendor relationships.

We offer on-the-job training, ongoing professional development, and flexible hours with both part-time and full-time options. ASTA health coverage may apply where available.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, Zoom, and Google Suite (preferred).

Responsibilities

About the job Remote Travel Professional

We require a Remote Travel Professional to provide premier customer service to clients. The travel industry continues to grow and with higher demand, we are seeking a highly motivated individual who is proactive, friendly, and coachable with a passion for travel. Duties & Responsibilities

• Communicate with prospective clients to assess travel needs, preferences, and desired budget
• Customize marketing materials to appeal to clients via social media platforms, bulletin boards, and flyers
• Recommend travel destinations based on weather, culture, excursions/activities, and visa requirements
• Book travel arrangements, collect payments and associated fees, and obtain required documentation
• Prepare all pre-departure itineraries and handles pre, post, and during-travel conflicts in a timely manner
• Maintain professional relationships with all travel vendors, clients, and tour operators.

Education and Experience Requirements

• 2+ years of customer service experience (preferred)
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in travel, hospitality, business, or other related fields (preferred)
