Job summary

Benchmark Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist for a remote, full-time telehealth role in Massachusetts. You will assess trauma histories, develop individualized treatment plans, and employ EMDR and TF-CBT to support recovery.

Work with a multidisciplinary team, deliver individual and group therapy, respond to crises, and maintain compliant EHR documentation while advancing trauma-informed care across the state.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably with trauma-focused populations.
• Proficient knowledge of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatments.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.
• Ability to remain steady and effective in high-pressure situations.
• Experience with EHR systems and relevant technology.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments.
• Develop personalized treatment plans focusing on trauma resolution and resilience.
• Utilize EMDR and TF-CBT to enhance effectiveness.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team.
• Respond to crisis situations with timely intervention.
• Educate patients and families about trauma responses and resources.
• Maintain accurate, confidential EHR documentation in line with state law.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
