Job summary

Fatima Behavioral Health Center seeks a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join a fully remote team serving clients in New York. You will conduct trauma-informed assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and apply EMDR and TF-CBT in individual and group sessions, collaborating with psychiatrists and other clinicians.

The role emphasizes accessible telehealth care, ethical practice, and ongoing professional development within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology).
• Current NY licensure as LMFT/LMHC/LCSW or LCSW-R and eligible for practice.
• At least 2 years of post-licensure trauma-focused clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver trauma-focused therapies (EMDR, TF-CBT) and facilitate individual and group sessions.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Provide crisis intervention and educate clients/families on coping strategies.
