Job summary

Apex National is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee remote operations, coordinating drivers and logistics teams to ensure on-time deliveries and compliant performance nationwide.

In this full-time role, you will monitor fleet activity, optimize routes, and mentor drivers while collaborating with stakeholders to meet client needs. A strong background in transportation management and CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in transportation, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people.
• Proficiency in the use of transportation management software and other relevant tools.
• Valid CDL and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the transportation fleet, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to optimize routes and schedules.
• Monitor and maintain the condition of vehicles, performing regular inspections and repairs as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the transportation process.
• Provide training and support to new drivers, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
• Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
