Job summary

QXO is seeking a Manager, Transportation Safety to lead enterprise safety programs across a nationwide operation. You will reduce risk, improve compliance, and strengthen the safety culture with field leaders and EHS teams.

In this role you will drive program execution, manage driver qualification, hours-of-service, telematics, and data analytics to sustain a safer, smarter workplace and help achieve our safety goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Transportation, Logistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in transportation safety, fleet operations, risk reduction, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA regulations and safety programs.
• Experience implementing safety programs in field environments.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills with the ability to influence across levels.
• Strong analytical and data skills to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise transportation safety program within an assigned business unit.
• Ensure DOT, FMCSA, OSHA compliance and drive safety policy adoption.
• Administer driver qualification, hours-of-service, telematics, and related programs.
• Monitor safety performance and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness.
• Collaborate with EHS teams and field leaders to embed safety in operations.
• Conduct incident reviews, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions.
