Job summary

QXO, North America's largest distributor and installer of insulation and building materials, seeks a Manager, Transportation Safety to lead the enterprise transportation safety program across a nationwide operation. This remote, full-time role drives risk reduction, compliance, and a culture of safety.

You will implement the Transportation Safety Program, manage driver qualifications and hours-of-service, analyze KPI data with telematics and dashboards, and partner with EHS teams to embed safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in transportation safety, fleet operations, risk reduction, regulatory compliance, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA regulations and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of enterprise transportation safety programs within an assigned business unit.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and other transportation safety regulations.
• Administer and support programs related to driver qualification, hours-of-service compliance, collision mitigation, and telematics.
• Monitor transportation safety performance and identify opportunities to improve program effectiveness.
• Partner with EHS teams to implement new safety processes, technologies, and initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Transportation, Facilities, HR, and IT to integrate safety into daily operations.
• Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning.
• Identify operational risks and implement effective controls; coach field leaders on safety.
• Deliver transportation safety training and learning programs; promote safe driving behaviors.
