Job summary

Passport is seeking a Logistics Analyst to optimize the transportation network using data-driven insights. You will analyze shipment volumes, lanes, pickup locations, and costs, and develop routing recommendations across domestic modes and consolidation strategies.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in transportation/logistics, strong Excel skills, and experience with a TMS or BI tools. Remote role with emphasis on collaboration across Operations and Finance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional experience in transportation, logistics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using large datasets to identify trends and options.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for cost modeling and reporting.
• Experience with TMS or similar logistics technology.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze shipment volumes, lanes, pickup locations, weights, and costs to identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop data-driven routing recommendations across network, modes, and consolidation strategies.
• Assess carrier performance and lead cost/benefit analyses for network changes.
• Build and maintain KPIs for transportation cost, utilization, and service performance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, and Finance to implement routing changes.
