Job summary
ANS is seeking an experienced Transmission Line - Project Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will lead design projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure quality and client satisfaction while working with a multidisciplinary group on solar and battery storage interconnections.
This remote role offers collaboration across geographies, with occasional travel, and exposure to renewables. Ideal candidates have a PE license, 5+ years in overhead transmission, and strong skills in
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical, Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering; Power preferred.
- Professional Engineer License.
- 5+ years in overhead transmission line design.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD and the NESC.
- Willingness to travel; passport required.
- Spanish language skills are a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Direct transmission line design projects with leadership and mentorship.
- Collaborate with multiple departments across geographies to ensure project execution.
- Drive innovative solutions and process improvements for efficiency.
