Job summary

My Financial Partner, a remote-first accounting team within Teamshares, cleans and standardizes acquired company books. You’ll be the primary G/L accountant for multiple entities in transition, handling accruals, intercompany entries, and ERP migrations to ensure clean close cycles.

You’ll automate processes, train local staff, and report findings to the Transition Controller, enabling a smooth handoff to ongoing MFP teams.

Qualifications

• GAAP proficiency required; clean up messy books and ensure accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, and intercompany entries.
• Experience with ERP migrations and system integrations.
• Ability to map legacy COA to standardized COA across acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary G/L accountant for multiple NCs in transition.
• Implement accruals, reserves, reclasses, and intercompany entries.
• Coach onsite finance leads on AR best practices and collections hygiene.
• Modernize AP tooling and improve cash flow controls.
• Reconcile cash, credit cards, payroll to proper GL accounts.
• Collaborate with MFP and Acquisitions teams to ensure alignment.
