Job summary

CBIZ National Transaction Advisory Services seeks a senior professional to lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity sponsors and portfolio companies across the U.S. You will perform in-depth financial analysis and advise on valuation, deal structure, and transaction risks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• CPA and knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Master's degree in accounting or MBA (with an accounting undergraduate degree).
• A preferred minimum of 3–5 years of financial audit experience (top ten public accounting firm) or related M&A experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in the transaction advisory services practice of a top ten national accounting firm and 1 year in Senior Manager role.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and oversee multiple financial due diligence engagements, ensuring high-quality client deliverables.
• Lead client relationships with confidence and maintain trust through clear communication and proactive issue identification.
• Oversee detailed review of analyses and workpapers, manage timelines and quality control.
• Exercise judgment on complex issues and guide teams through high-risk areas of diligence.
• Present key findings to clients and deal stakeholders with clear interpretation of risks and implications.
• Coach junior team members with direction and feedback on technical and professional skills.
