Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Production Training Support Specialist to assist with communicating training materials and resolving system issues for the VA VR&E Readiness and Employment System (RES). The role is fully remote across the United States and supports training delivery, problem resolution, and ongoing SME activities.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s in communications or equivalent training/support experience, strong writing and verbal skills, and a solid grasp of adult learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or commensurate training/support experience.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts in simple language.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Strong organization and time management.
• Excellent verbal and written skills with attention to detail.
• Self-directed and proactive; anticipates learner questions.
• Knowledge and proficiency in adult learning.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Communicate complex ideas in easy-to-understand terms to technical and non-technical learners.
• Maintain subject matter expertise on the RES system and updates.
• Provide best-in-class customer service and resolve client questions and requests.
• Participate in system enhancement meetings as SME on updates.
• Analyze data discrepancies and report findings for resolution.
• Research and resolve RES-related customer requests.
• Provide production support for RES and ensure proper application of guidelines.
• Create training materials based on customer support needs.
