The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Training Officer for Switchboard to lead development and delivery of capacity-building initiatives for newcomer and refugee services in the United States. This role requires direct service experience with refugees and collaboration with experts to design culturally responsive resources.

Responsibilities include creating training content, providing technical assistance, and managing learning resources while ensuring timely, on-budget delivery

Formación

• Master's Degree in a relevant field such as MSW or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years of direct service experience with refugees and ORR-eligible populations.
• Experience providing training or technical assistance to refugee service providers.
• Experience delivering client-centered, trauma-informed, strength-based services.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver training related to refugee and newcomer services (webinars, e-learning, in-person).
• Provide consultation and resources via email or virtual meetings to refugee providers across the U.S.
• Produce written learning resources such as blog posts and toolkits.
• Incorporate feedback from reviewers to improve materials.
• Lead development of multimedia resources (videos, podcasts) collaboratively.
• Coordinate a monthly community of practice on refugee topics.
