Job summary

Blu Omega LLC is seeking a Training Specialist to design and deliver learning solutions that enable stakeholder adoption of new technologies and workflows in a federal health environment. This role operates in a remote setting and requires experience supporting organizational learning initiatives in governmental programs.

The position focuses on developing comprehensive curricula, assessing needs, delivering across multiple modalities, and ensuring accessibility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years creating, managing, and delivering training programs.
• Experience designing large-scale programs across modalities.
• Experience with technical or data science content.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement with SMEs.
• Experience leading training teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or Captivate.
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards.
• Excellent instructional design, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust or Suitability determination.
• Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, communications, organizational development, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage comprehensive training curricula for technology modernization and organizational change.
• Assess workflows and audience needs to identify training gaps.
• Develop scalable training across instructor-led, microlearning, job aids, and eLearning.
• Translate complex concepts into accessible training materials for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to align training with system capabilities and processes.
• Evaluate changes to support training readiness, rollout, and sustainment.
• Ensure materials meet Section 508 accessibility requirements.
• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and learning events.
• Develop and maintain training materials using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe CC, Captivate, and similar tools.
• Establish methods to evaluate training effectiveness and adoption outcomes.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate with team members to maintain learning standards.
• Engage with client and executive stakeholders to communicate training strategies, progress, and risks.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate emerging technologies and AI learning tools.
