Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a remote Senior Training Specialist to design curriculum and develop cohesive eLearning from concepts and procedures. The role emphasizes creating distance learning materials, editing content to standards, and providing SME support across teams.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree with IT training experience and extensive training development background, with a preference for PACTS familiarity and ability to manage documentation under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–5 years IT training experience (or commensurate experience).
• A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience, with at least nine (9) years specifically in a training development role.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating and coordinating the development of training materials
• Creating and developing distance learning using multimedia development tools
• Editing documents using a set of vetted guidelines
• Collaborating with a creative, synergetic team
• Providing subject matter knowledge to other teams
• Maintaining project documentation
• Producing professional quality work within tight deadlines and evolving priorities
• Partnering with other subject matter experts to obtain information, validate content, and evaluate the effectiveness of course delivery
• Utilizing training tools and technologies to deliver design solutions
