Job summary

Marketing Direction is seeking a Traffic Manager to own operational coordination across client accounts. You will connect account managers with the implementation team, routing projects, tracking timelines and budgets, and ensuring deliverables meet scope.

This is a fully remote contractor role with variable hours; Tampa Bay area preferred but open to qualified US locations. You will use Monday.com, AI tools, and dashboards to keep multiple projects moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in agency operations, project management, or traffic coordination.
• Demonstrated multi-project coordination at scale (10+ concurrent projects).
• PM tools proficiency (Monday.com, Asana, or comparable) with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Experience configuring PM tools beyond basic use -- automations, alerts, dashboards, integrations.
• Budget tracking experience -- monitoring hours against approved estimates and flagging variances before they become problems.
• QC/verification capability -- reviewing deliverables against requirements for completeness and accuracy.
• Experience coordinating across creative, marketing, or professional services teams.
• Currently using AI tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or equivalent) in your workflow.

Responsibilities

• Create project boards in Monday.com and set up folders with standard structure.
• Route project assignments to the right specialist based on skill and capacity; manage timelines and dependencies.
• Perform first-pass QC on deliverables before project owner review; route through approval chain.
• Monitor hours against estimates; enforce budget check-ins and flag out-of-scope work for approvals.
• Escalate when deadlines slip; monitor cross-account capacity and address bottlenecks.
• Verify deliverables in production and ensure links, forms, and functionality are correct.
• Provide weekly status reports to account managers and communicate approvals with clear context.
