Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Certificate in Paralegal studies preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Certified Paralegal a plus.
• Seven years’ experience as a trademark paralegal at a law firm, or five years as a trademark professional.

Responsibilities

• Manages a full docket of trademark-related deadlines and reminders.
• Conducts in-house trademark screening searches on multiple databases.
• Prepares and files U.S. trademark applications, renewals, and related filings.
• Prepares and files international filings with WIPO.
• Files UDRP and other filings; maintains records with USPTO.
• Supervises foreign law firm work on prosecution and enforcement.
• Coordinates document preparation, execution, and apostille for international filings.
• Communicates with clients to gather information and instructions.
• Investigates infringing uses of trademarks.
• Creates customized trademark reports and supports client development.
