Job summary

The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, experience with USPTO and WIPO systems, and a background in trademark prosecution, maintenance, and disputes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal studies certificate preferred or equivalent experience.
• Certified Paralegal a plus.
• Minimum seven years’ experience as a trademark paralegal at a law firm or five years in trademark professional role.

Responsibilities

• Manages full docket of trademark deadlines; sends timely reminders to clients and attorneys.
• Conducts in-house trademark screening searches (TESS, SAEGIS, Corsearch, WIPO).
• Prepares and files U.S. trademark applications and renewals; handles non-substantive responses and declarations.
• Prepares and files international applications and extensions with WIPO.
• Files UDRP complaints with Forum and WIPO; records assignments and name changes with USPTO.
