Job summary

Granite River Inc. is seeking a mid-level Trade Operations Specialist to work across custody, funds movement, and OTC settlement. You will collaborate with the trading desk, finance, and client venues, ensuring smooth settlements and accurate records.

The role requires hands-on experience in market-making environments, deep knowledge of on-chain/off-chain transfers, and a calm, precise approach under pressure. Fully remote with global coverage and regional time-zone coordination.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience at a market maker.
• 3 to 6 years in trading, settlement or treasury operations.
• Hands-on experience with institutional custody providers, especially Fireblocks and Copper.
• Direct experience with OTC settlement and post-trade reconciliation.
• Familiarity with DeFi operations: bridging, gas management, liquidity pools.

Responsibilities

• Administer custody and wallet infrastructure across Fireblocks, Copper, exchanges and self-custody.
• Execute and approve on-chain and off-chain transfers under time pressure.
• Manage daily movement of capital between exchanges, custodians, DeFi venues and counterparties.
• Maintain relationships with centralized exchanges, DEX ecosystems and custody providers: onboarding, API keys, fees, limits.
• Run OTC settlement end to end and act as the operational contact for onboarding and post-trade queries.
• Daily reconciliation of positions, balances and fees; support incident reviews.
