Job summary

Mohawk Global is seeking an Associate Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support international trade compliance by managing post-entry processes, product classifications, and regulatory documentation. This role ensures adherence to U.S. Customs and PGA requirements while contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.

The position partners with internal teams and clients to resolve compliance issues and maintain accurate, compliant import/export activities.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in international trade, freight forwarding, or similar industry.
• Working knowledge of U.S. Customs compliance procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliant vetting of the client and timely establishment of the client record.
• Prepare and support submission of post-entry filings in accordance with procedures.
• Process powers of attorney (POA) and sub-POAs.
• Maintain compliance documentation, policies, and procedures under guidance.
• Follow established processes to support U.S. Customs and PGA compliance requirements.
• Assist in reviewing Customs inquiries and supporting required responses.
• Identify and report process inefficiencies or recurring issues.
• Maintain accurate and organized compliance records.
