Job summary

Mohawk Global is seeking an Associate Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support international trade compliance by managing post-entry processes, product classifications, and regulatory documentation. The role ensures adherence to U.S. Customs and PGA requirements while driving efficiencies and process improvements.

The position partners with internal teams and clients to resolve compliance issues and maintain accurate, compliant import/export activities. Remote work options may be available.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in international trade or freight forwarding.
• Working knowledge of U.S. Customs procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with compliance systems and documentation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Vet the client and establish the client record to ensure compliant onboarding.
• Prepare and support submission of post-entry filings per procedures.
• Process powers of attorney (POA) and sub-POAs.
• Maintain compliance documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Support audit preparation and respond to Customs inquiries as needed.
• Identify and report process inefficiencies or recurring issues.
