Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Natural ADABAS Developer with 8+ years of experience to analyze and develop system requirements, code and debug Natural code, QA/test, and support code migration to a production environment. The candidate must have PIPS Application Services experience and hold a current Top Secret clearance; this position is fully remote within the United States.

Qualifications

• Requires Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with large-scale mainframe/client-server apps (batch and online).
• Experience defining requirements with customers.
• Ability to design solutions across multiple systems/sub-systems.
• Proficient with O365 (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs and codes applications following specifications with appropriate tools.
• Maintains and modifies existing software applications.
• Analyzes detailed system factors including input/output requirements and information flow.
• Performs modifications to and maintenance of operational programs and procedures.
• Participates in code reviews to ensure standards compliance.
• Writes or revises program documentation, operations docs and user guides.
