Job summary

Galbreath Costner, LLC is seeking Title Reviewers to assess risks in property titles, examine historical records and legal documents to ensure clear title ownership for real estate transactions. You will provide insights to clients, lenders, and attorneys, applying knowledge of property law, researching meticulously, and communicating findings clearly to support secure transactions.

The role may be remote, in-office, or hybrid as determined by management, with onsite support during high-volume

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of real estate, mortgage lending, and property law.
• Proficiency in using software applications relevant to title processing.
• Experience with title software systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Document Review: Review and interpret legal documents to extract information for the title report.
• Title Document Preparation: Prepare preliminary opinions/Title Commitments from examinations.
• Title Insurance Coordination: Work with title insurance companies and underwriters to address requirements.
• Title Clearance: Assist in resolving title issues to ensure a clear title.
• Communication: Update internal teams, escrow officers, attorneys, and stakeholders on progress.
• Coordination with Other Professionals: Collaborate with escrow officers, real estate attorneys, and other professionals; maintain records.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with real estate laws and regulations.
• Quality Control: Implement QC measures to ensure accuracy in title examinations and underwriting.
