Job summary

The role supports clients, lenders, and attorneys, ensuring secure, informed transactions. The position may be remote, in-office, or hybrid as determined by management, with occasional onsite support during high-volume periods.

Qualifications

• Experience with real estate title processing and underwriting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of property law and mortgage lending concepts.
• Proficiency with title software and databases used in title processing.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret legal documents to produce title reports.
• Identify discrepancies or irregularities affecting title.
• Prepare preliminary opinions/Title Commitments based on examinations.
• Coordinate with title insurers and underwriters for policy issuance.
• Assist in resolving title issues to ensure a clear, marketable title.
• Communicate updates to escrow officers, attorneys, and stakeholders.
• Maintain organized records of transactions and title documents.
• Ensure compliance with real estate laws and title processing regulations.
