Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking an experienced Legal & Title Analyst for remote work in the United States. The contract role focuses on title review, curative actions, and project finance coordination for utility-scale renewable energy projects.

You will work with Development, Land, Legal, and Finance teams, reviewing title commitments, proformas, site control documents, and surveys to meet investor requirements. Strong Excel and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Real Estate or related field.
Minimum five years experience reviewing title commitments, policies, land documents.
Experience coordinating with title companies, surveyors, lenders.
Ability to analyze title exceptions and curative solutions.
Experience reviewing ALTA/NSPS surveys and related documents.
Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Review title commitments, proformas, site control instruments, and land documents for utility-scale energy projects.
Maintain ENGIE's Title Review Excel Spreadsheet with requirements and tracking.
Prepare Title Status Reports summarizing findings, risks, and financing considerations.
Coordinate with title companies and provide redline comments to advance title policies.
Review ALTA/NSPS surveys to verify compliance with investor and title requirements.
Evaluate easements, corridors, encroachments, and constructability impacts.
Coordinate title curative actions with stakeholders and landowners.
Attend project meetings and provide bi-weekly status updates.
Support mineral title review activities.
