ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking an experienced Legal & Title Analyst to support utility-scale renewable energy projects through title review, survey review, title curative actions, and project finance coordination activities.

This contract position is remote (US) and points of contact include internal Development, Land, Legal, and Finance teams. The role requires reviewing title commitments, proformas, site control documents, and ALTA surveys; maintaining the Title Review Spreadsheet; and

Qualifications

Review title commitments, policies, land agreements, easements, surveys, and real estate docs.
Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, lenders, and consultants.
Analyze title exceptions, mortgage restrictions, and easement requirements.
Prepare reports and logs documenting findings, risks, and actions.

Responsibilities

Review title commitments, proformas, site control instruments and land docs for energy projects.
Populate and maintain ENGIE's Title Review Spreadsheet with status and issues.
Prepare Title Status Reports summarizing material findings and risks.
Provide redline comments to advance title policies acceptable to ENGIE and financiers.
Review ALTA/NSPS surveys to verify compliance with investor and title requirements.
