Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking an experienced Legal & Title Analyst to support utility-scale renewable energy projects through title review, survey review, title curative actions, and project finance coordination.

This remote contractor role involves coordinating with Development, Land, Legal, and Finance teams, title companies, lenders, and external stakeholders to ensure compliant site control documentation and title policies meet investor requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
Minimum five years reviewing title commitments and related documents.
Experience coordinating with title companies, surveyors, lenders.
Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

Review title commitments, proformas, site control documents, and related land documentation.
Maintain Title Review Excel Spreadsheet with title requirements and defects.
Prepare Title Status Reports summarizing findings, risks, and financing considerations.
Coordinate with title companies and provide redline comments.
Review ALTA/NSPS surveys for compliance.
Evaluate easements and access rights for constructability.
Coordinate title curative actions with stakeholders.
Attend project meetings and provide status updates bi-weekly.
