Ardán, Inc., a community of companies, is seeking an experienced title professional in Austin, TX. The role focuses on determining the conditions of the title, insurability, and analyzing recorded documents to protect ownership and title quality.

You will explain title chains, assess risks, and collaborate with underwriters and agents. The position may involve travel within Texas and surrounding states and some remote work opportunities.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Real Estate Law/Underwriting Real Estate Transactions in Texas or surrounding states.
• At least 5 years' experience in title insurance, preferably in Texas or surrounding states.
• Familiarity with Texas Basic Manual for Title Insurance and legal research using Westlaw/Lexis.

Responsibilities

• Determine conditions of title and insurability by reviewing deeds, mortgages, liens, probates and other records.
• Analyze documents for ownership, legal descriptions, and title impact.
• Explain chain of title, exceptions, and requirements to customers and managers.
• Identify title defects and formulate curative solutions.
• Advise on regulatory compliance to title agencies.
