Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Real Estate Law and underwriting transactions.
• Familiarity with Texas Basic Manual for Title Insurance.
• Strong legal research skills using Westlaw or Lexis.

Responsibilities

• Work with title examiners to determine title conditions.
• Analyze recorded documents for ownership and legal descriptions.
• Explain title exceptions and requirements to stakeholders.
• Recognize title defects and provide solutions.
• Assess risks that may jeopardize the company.
