Job summary

Ardán is seeking a Title Curative Specialist who will apply title underwriting standards and insurer guidelines to determine insurability and resolve complex title issues for clients. You will evaluate searches, coordinate releases, and work with counsel while meeting client SLAs in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of curative experience in the title industry.
• Commercial and Purchase experience preferred.
• Ability to make well-reasoned risk decisions.
• Experience utilizing title software (ResWare) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates title search, researches, and resolves title issues per underwriting standards.
• Determines solutions to clear title issues and acts to resolve them.
• Performs complex tasks, including obtaining releases for prior liens and reviewing decrees.
• Coordinates with underwriting counsel to resolve curative matters.
• Orders and follows up on clearance documentation.
• Communicates with lienholders or attorneys regarding liens.
• Provides estimated curative resolution dates and tracks status to meet SLAs.
• Delivers completed documents to clients and ensures accuracy.
• Prioritizes daily work to meet client metrics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
