Job summary

Mira is seeking a Social Media Content Creator to grow our presence on TikTok and Instagram Reels. You will own the process from concept and filming through editing and publishing, creating platform-native videos for a US audience.

The role is remote with a 40-hour week, flexible hours, and occasional London content days. The ideal candidate films and edits independently, spots trends quickly, writes hooks, and is comfortable appearing on camera.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio of TikTok, Reels and short-form content you filmed and edited.
• 2+ years creating short-form social content for a brand, agency or your own channel.
• Strong knowledge of TikTok and Instagram trends, formats and platform culture.
• Confident using CapCut, Premiere Pro and/or Canva.
• Strong instincts for hooks, pacing, storytelling and retention, plus good copywriting for captions and on-screen text.
• Able to move quickly from idea to published content; proactive and comfortable working independently.
• Comfortable appearing on camera is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create TikTok and Instagram Reels from concept → filming → editing → publishing
• Own a consistent pipeline of original, platform-native short-form content for a primarily US audience
• Spot relevant trends, sounds, formats and conversations and turn them into Mira content quickly
• Develop repeatable Social series and creative formats
• Turn community comments, FAQs and conversations into reactive content and video replies
• Support day-to-day TikTok and Instagram community management, including comments and DMs
• Work with Mira's medical and science experts to keep health content accurate and compliant
• Track content performance and use learnings to improve future creative
• Join London content days with the Head of Social as needed
