Simply is hiring a Social Media Content Creator for a full-time remote role. You will lead content creation for TikTok, IG Reels, and Amazon, from scripting ideas to filming and editing, collaborating with the marketing team to reflect the brand’s messaging.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, is comfortable on camera, and brings social-first storytelling passion with a track record of engaging content.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of prior work creating brand content
• Comfortable on camera
• Self-motivated and fast-paced in a startup environment
• Experience editing in CapCut or similar
• Genuine passion for social-first storytelling
• Familiarity with social performance metrics

Responsibilities

• Own full process of creating short-form videos and posts across TikTok, IG Reels, and Amazon
• Pitch ideas, produce and edit content
• Be a face of the brand in videos
• Stay updated on social trends and features
• Collaborate with Social Media Manager to post content and track performance
• Iterate based on top/bottom performers weekly
• Develop captions, hashtags, and social-first copy
• Create on-brand thumbnails for each platform
• Capture behind-the-scenes content at events and store visits
• Showcase brand culture with office-based content
• Prepare assets for Paid Media and retailers, including Amazon
