Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a cybersecurity-related field.
• 5+ years hands-on detection engineering experience with SIEM rules at scale.
• Strong scripting experience (PowerShell or Python) and detection content creation.
• Experience across threat detection, security operations, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain threat detection and monitoring capabilities across enterprise environments.
• Develop, tune, and optimize SIEM use cases, detection rules, alerts, and correlation logic.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting, investigations, and event analysis to identify risks.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to improve detection coverage and response effectiveness.
• Support audits with evidence, documentation, and responses to requests.
• Evaluate controls and align monitoring with regulatory requirements and standards.
• Analyze logs and telemetry from network, endpoint, cloud, and applications.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to measure detection effectiveness and readiness.
• Automate monitoring, investigation, and reporting through scripting and workflows.
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
