Job summary

Novartis is seeking an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) for the Mid-Atlantic region. Remote work with extensive travel (up to 80%) across WV, VA, MD, DC, DE, PA, and parts of NJ/NY.

Lead engagements with Medical Experts to shape dermatology strategies, education, and insights across Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Congress strategies. The role requires strong relationship building, strategic thinking, and compliance in cross-functional environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in Thought Leader/Medical Expert engagement or related pharma/biotech roles.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% across a broad geography within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with Medical Experts in Dermatology.
• Conduct compliant Medical Expert engagements to generate insights.
• Facilitate discussions to inform marketing and educational strategies.
• Capture and communicate actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support peer-to-peer education programs and speaker development.
• Moderate educational programs and advisory boards.
• Coordinate engagement activities for congresses and external events.
• Partner across Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, and Congress teams.
• Leverage CRM and digital tools to enhance engagement planning.
