Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–3 years related experience preferred, especially in scheduling patients.
• Prior scheduling in healthcare and hospital experience preferred.
• Experience with medical billing/coding and authorization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and schedule patients for therapy evaluations and treatments.
• Enter referral information and maintain referral log.
• Communicate prep information to families during scheduling.
• Triage calls and route to appropriate department.
• Reply to voicemails promptly during operating hours.
• Collaborate with referring doctors, hospitals, insurance companies, patients and families.
• Support Quality Assessment and Improvement initiatives.
