Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics is seeking a Therapy Insurance Specialist to verify patient insurance, review benefits, and document patient charts. The role supports coordination with patients, insurance reps, clinic staff, and vendors. Remote work is possible after 6 months based on performance.

This is a full-time position scheduled Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with initial in-person training at local Minnesota sites. Excellent communication and organization are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Customer service experience required.
• Previous healthcare facility experience in pre-registration, insurance verification, or appointment scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices.
• Research denials and report findings back to billing denial team.
• Schedule new and existing patients in the current practice management system.
• Answer inbound calls in a timely, pleasant and professional manner.
• Communicate all pertinent patient information regarding their call, including appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments.
