Job summary

Revo Health in Minnesota is seeking an Insurance Verification Specialist to provide excellent customer service and accurately verify insurance benefits. This role communicates with patients, insurance reps, clinic staff, and outside vendors, handling documentation and chart management.

Training lasts three months in Stillwater or Bloomington, with potential remote work after that based on performance. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with remote options after training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Customer service experience required.
• Previous experience in a healthcare facility in relation to pre-registration, insurance verification, or appointment scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices.
• Research denials and report findings back to billing denial team.
• Accurately schedule new and existing patients in the current practice management system.
• Answer inbound calls in a timely, pleasant and professional manner.
• Communicate all pertinent patient information regarding their call including appointment information and copayments.
• Maintain professional communication with patients, insurance representatives, clinic personnel, and outside vendors via phone, email or written documentation.
• Demonstrate knowledge of health care plan requirements and networks.
• Make outbound calls for benefit inquiries and authorization details; document accordingly.
• Travel as needed for team meetings.
• Comply with all policies and procedures.
• Complete daily tasks and follow up as designated.
• Work as part of a cohesive team.
