Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking a Therapy Access Manager to support provider and patient access for UT therapies across New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Virginia. The role focuses on payer education, prior authorization, and coordination with HUB services to optimize access.

You will educate physician offices, manage defined accounts, participate in cross-functional teams, and travel as needed to sites within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Master’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• PhD/PharmD with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• 1+ years of experience in Market Access and/or Field Reimbursement supporting specialty products.
• Experience educating HCPs on patient service programs (copay, nurse education, patient assistance, etc.).
• Experience with specialty/biologic products and/or complex reimbursement process.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined accounts within a region to support access for providers and patients.
• Educate healthcare providers and office staff on access services and reimbursement solutions.
• Execute a region/territory strategic plan with internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as payer expert and communicate payer changes to stakeholders.
• Educate physician office staff on patient support tools and portals.
• Travel within the territory to provide in-person customer visits.
