Job summary

United Therapeutics seeks a Therapy Access Manager to lead access strategies across defined accounts and educate providers on reimbursement solutions. You will partner with call center, HUB, Market Access, and field teams to optimize payer navigation and ensure timely patient access.

The role requires extensive collaboration, travel, and in-person customer visits, with a focus on formulary coverage and benefits investigations to resolve access barriers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s with 8+ years relevant experience, or Master’s with 6+ years, or PhD/PharmD with 2+ years.
• 1+ year experience in Market Access and/or Field Reimbursement supporting specialty products.
• Experience with specialty/biologics and/or complex reimbursement.
• Experience educating HCPs on patient service programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined accounts in a region to support access for providers and patients.
• Execute a territory strategic plan with internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as payer expert for assigned geography and communicate payer changes.
• Ensure understanding of reimbursement processes and patient support programs.
• Provide office education on access processes and benefit investigations.
• Educate physician office staff on patient support services.
