Job summary

United Therapeutics Corporation seeks a Regional Field Director, Therapy Access to lead a regional team of Therapy Access Managers and drive compliant reimbursement education across PAH/ILD products. You’ll oversee daily TAM operations, share market insights from HCP requests, and coordinate cross-cover to ensure timely support.

The role requires extensive experience in reimbursement, payer dynamics, and contract strategies, with a focus on leading teams and navigating a complex US healthcare

Qualifications

• 12+ years of pharmaceutical/healthcare experience with focus in reimbursement, contract strategy, managed care, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in claims reimbursement including coverage, coding, and payer processes.
• Deep market access and health care policy expertise.
• Demonstrated success in execution of launch strategies and payor dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional TAMs and set vision to achieve compliant objectives with Patient Relations alignment.
• Review HCP engagement trends to manage requests and share market insights.
• Coordinate cross-cover of HCP support requests to address gaps and ensure coverage.
• Establish rules of engagement for interactions with HCPs and internal stakeholders.
• Represent patient and stakeholder concerns and develop compliant solutions within regions.
• Drive accountability and identify scalable practices to address access barriers.
• Collaborate with Patient Relations to resolve program escalations and ensure positive experiences.
• Engage sales leadership to discuss regional trends and challenges, and drive proactive education.
• Monitor staffing projections and geographic distribution based on activity levels.
• Provide ongoing coaching and development to team members.
