Children's Aid in New York, NY is seeking a Therapeutic Case Planner to support families affected by IPV. You will assess safety, develop intervention plans, and help families activate change to stabilize and protect children.

You will maintain a caseload of 10-11 families, conduct home visits, provide crisis intervention and advocacy across child welfare, benefits, health care, and legal systems. A Master’s in social work is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or a related field.
• Experience providing services to families affected by IPV preferred.
• Training and experience in trauma work preferred.

Responsabilités

• Understand and promote the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain a caseload of 10-11 families with a minimum of two face‑to‑face contacts per month.
• Attend all SWF/ ACS/ Outside trainings as required.
• Successfully complete TF-CBT training.
• Utilize TF-CBT skills to assist families in dealing with their trauma.
• Provide advocacy in the child welfare, public benefits, law enforcement, and legal/family court system.
